SUNBURY ABORIGINAL CORPORATION

Established in March 2017 by Dr Gail Radford, and opening premises in 2021, Sunbury Aboriginal Corporation (SAC) supports local Aboriginal community in a magnitude of ways. We are an Aboriginal Controlled Community Organisation (ACCO) that is governed by seven volunteer board members. SAC exists to create a welcoming, culturally safe environment for community to participate in workshops, programs, groups, and to seek assistance. The corporation holds events throughout the year to celebrate significant dates for Aboriginal people, as well as events such as ‘Healthy Happy Deadly’ that promote health and wellbeing. We will continue to be a strong asset to the Sunbury community far into the future, the organisation adapts easily to meet the growing needs of the Aboriginal community in Sunbury.
